![]() Eventually I will upgrade again to Yosemite and try to exchange this File with Maverick version.on my MacBookPro (Late2013, 13'') it seems to work some, though. unom at 11:56 A little late to the party, but I wonder if I can use this 62611 delock adapter to setup my monitor (lg 29UM58) to 2560x108060Hz. On my MacMini I unfortunately started TimeMachine Restore back to Maverick yesterday (still restoring). However you might need to use SwitchResX to tweak or force the resolutions you want as it doesn't always work the way you want it. ![]() Internally (binary/hex coded settings) it seems to be different to the Yosemite version as well in Yosemite there is a string attribute LG ULTRAWIDE, where as the old file just keeps the same values 7789 for VendorID and DisplayProduct 30427 You can then continue to load all your custom settings again and also set up new ones. If you like SwitchResX, or SwitchResX has helped you, please think to register your software. Its a free try-out version which is fully functional for 10 days. ![]() After Yosemite it has ChangeDate of 9th September. With the HDMI->Thunderbolt cable, the monitor functions properly, in the sense that my display is extended, however not at the optimum resolution (which would be 2560x1080). Here you can download the latest version (4.12.2) of SwitchResX. The File used for 34UM95 seems to be "DisplayProductID-76db" (checked on MacBookPro as well MacMini): Prior to Yosemite Update it was from 28th Feb. In Display Settings (OS X) the resolution 3440x1440 is shown and I can choose between 60Hz (NTSC), 50 or 30Hz PAL > so this should work eventually for you guys, having a 34UM95 connected to a MacBook as second screen. I tried to use software like SwitchResX or RDM to create a custom resolution but they do not work with the new Mac M1 because the level protection of the system data is changed, so it's not. Interesting stuff: I restored from an earlier TimeMachine Backup the specific Display Profile File (used on Maverick & Yosemite for 34UM95 -> checked with ioreg command) to my MacBookPro (System/Libraries/Displays/Overrides/DisplayVendorID-1e6d) and so far - even as Dualscreen - my 34UM95 can be used with native resolution 3440x1440 (connected to Thunderbolt). After playing around (unsuccessfully with SwitchResX) I checked my old Backups of the situation a day prior to Upgrade to Yosemite.
